Voorhies/Yamin “Supernova” Lefty Carbon Fibre Folder
The “Supernova” is a collaboration between Faisal Yamin (designer) and Les Voorhies (maker). Sporting handsome handles made from lightning strike carbon fiber (LSCF) with silver wire, the Supernova has titanium liners and a zirconium* pocket clip, pivot, and back spacer. It has a blade length of 3.5″, cutting edge of 3.375″ and an overall length of 8″. The blade is made from carpenter CTS-XHP steel alloy, which has the corrosion resistance of 440C steel but the hardness/toughness of D2 tool steel. Shown here in an exclusive left-handed version!
